Reiki Classes
People of any age can acquire the skill of Reiki, and it is not uncommon for a whole family to learn it. Among friends or within a family, Reiki offers
a very positive opportunity to spend quality time together in a warm, secure and peaceful atmosphere.
Reiki degrees consist of 4 levels - 1st degree, 2nd degree, 3rd degree, and the master/teacher degree. Once you complete Level 1, you can treat yourself & others as a Reiki Practitioner. You progress from one degree to the next
according to your own rate of personal experience and inner growth.
There are no special conditions or equipment required to learn and practice Reiki, but people who want to be open
to Reiki tend to have a natural readiness and ability to receive it. As soon as you complete the 1st degree class, you will be able to treat yourself and others with Reiki.
Reiki is also a very helpful addition to various modalities - e.g. massage, reflexology, etc. If you practice any of these natural remedies, try adding
Reiki to the treatment at the same time. Reiki will harmonize with any of these techniques, and inrease the effectiveness more so than just practicing it alone.
All the classes taught by Terri Takahashi here at Reiki On The Lake are designed to comply with the standards and code of ethics of The Canadian Reiki Association. The
students will be provided with sufficient time for 'hands-on' training until they are fully able and confident to practice all the techniques required for his/her level.
A manual for each level will be provided at beginning of the class, and a certificate will be presented to each student upon successful completion of each class.

Reiki Level I (1st Degree)
Basics of Reiki such as the history, principles/precepts and standard hand positions. Once you complete this class,
you will be able to treat yourself and others at the physical level.
Duration: 4 hrs/day for 2 days (total 8 hrs.)
Reiki Level II (2nd Degree)
Learn theoretical and practical use of the three traditional Reiki symbols, also the mental/emotional healing component of a session. Practice
various distant healing techniques as well.
Duration: 4 hrs/day for 2 days (total 8 hrs.)
Reiki Level III (3rd Degree)
Learn theoretical and practical use of the "Traditional Usui Master Symbol". Review Level I & II, and upgrade your knowledge on the use of
Reiki such as Aura Cleansing, Reiki Meditations, and others.
Duration: 4 hrs/day for 2 days (total 8 hrs.)
Reiki Master/Teacher Level (Master Degree)
A complete review of previous levels of Reiki. Learn the teaching and performing of attunements on others to all levels of Reiki,
practical and theoretical symbol usage.
Duration: 4 hrs/day for 3 days (total 12 hrs.)
